451 Scuttle Panel Removal
Gain access to the cabin air inlet and the window squirting nozzle hosing
Gain access to the cabin air inlet and the window squirting nozzle hosing
Torx25 bolt as seen below. This is one of the fixings holding the scuttle in place.
Remove the 2 Torx25 screws from the centre of the scuttle.
Either side of the front are another 4 Torx25 screws.
Removing the windscreen wipers is the easiest option if you have the tools.
The nuts are 13mm but are awkward to get to. If you can't get the wipers off you can
still remove the scuttle by pulling to unclip the separate section over each wiper spindle.
The panel is now loose. Turn it over and pull the rubber tube from the back of the widow washer jet.
The scuttle panel is now free from the car. The picture below shows
the car with the scuttle off, the cabin air intake is highlighted in green.
Refitting is the reverse of removal.
