Dashboard Removal
Although it seems like a task from hell it's actually a fairly simple process.
The dashboard is actually only held on by 1 bolt and 1 screw, the time consuming part
is taking off the speedo housing and the centre console so the dash can slide out.

How-To

First lets start by removing the stereo, the 'how to' can be found
here.

Also remove the under stereo drawer, this can be removed by pressing
the sides of the drawer in and giving it a pull.

Next we need to remove some screws to loosen the centre console.

This Torx10 screw (circled in red) can be found on the left of the stereo.

This Torx10 screw (circled in red) can be found on the right of the stereo.

Prise out the triangle at the top of the dash and remove all the Torx10 screws.

Remove all of the attachments like the ashtray, CD holder etc.
Underneath the centre console remove these 2 Torx10 screws.

Remove this Torx10 screw from the centre console just above the front interior light.

Remove the speedo pod following this guide
here.
Remove the Torx10 screw just right of the steering column.

Pull off the heater ball on the left and remove the Torx30 bolt underneath.

Holding the centre console from the top, carefully pull it away from the dashboard, disconnect any wires. Lift the dash up slightly and pull towards you, it should slide out with very little force.

Thanks to Crazy G for this extra info

If you have the tweeters already fitted, you will have to disconnect them before pulling
the dashboard from the car. Halfway down the wires and covered in a foam sheath are
the joining connectors. Slide the foam sheath up or down to reveal the connectors,
disconnect them, Remember to reconnect them before refitting the dashboard.

Refitting The Dash

Refitting the dash is the reverse of above, there are 3 metal clips that will either be attached to the front edge of the dash or the tridion or a bit of both. Some people find it easier to have the clips attached to one or the other, you will have to experiment to see which side works for you.

Personally I find it easier to fit the clips to the dashboard first as the receiving part on the
car is thinner so accepts the clip more easily. Some people prefer however, to fit the clips
to the tridion and lightly chamfer the receiving dash clips with a knife.

Line the dash up and try to evenly push it back in place, if that fails start from one side and move across. If that fails, line it up and give it a huge whack forwards, worked for me first time around.

The procedure I currently use (until I find a better one) is to attach the clips
to the tridion, rest the dashboard on top of them and slowly pull the dash
forwards evenly. Eventually the dash will drop down about 10mm and as long
as the dashboard is central, it should push straight in with no problems.
