CD Changer Fitting


Remove the stereo by inserting the removal keys in each side



The stereo only has clips at the bottom of the two holes.
You can easily remove a stereo with a single key by doing one side at a time.



Feed the blue connector end of the cable up behind the dash,
if you look up in the footwell you will see the route it should take.



Pull the blue connector out through the stereo hole...



...and plug it into the rear of the stereo.
Push the stereo back into place.



Pull back the carpet, route the cabledown along side the polystyrene block
and underneath the carpet near the raised centre tunnel. Replace the carpet.



Push your arm under the carpet and feed the other end of the lead out under the seat.



Plug this connection into the CD changer.



The easiest way to fix it under the seat is to use hook velcro on the underside.
You can purchase a frame from smart that secures it under the seat,
the problem is it makes the CD changer visible to people who may look in.



Push the button shown below to switch to CD changer mode.

When you insert CDs into the magazine you should ensure they are LABLE SIDE DOWN.



The magazine has an arrow on the top to show the correct way to insert it.

Controls

Pressing CD will toggle between the CD and the CD changer.

Pressing 1 will play the first 10 seconds of every track.
Pressing 2 will load the next CD.
Pressing 3 will randomly play the songs on the CDs.
Pressing 4 will load the previous CD.

The track up and down works as before.
