Valance Removal
The valance is the black plastic shield that sits at the bottom of the rear panel.
The valance is the black plastic shield that sits at the bottom of the rear panel.
Place a sheet down on the floor or take the panel inside to stop it getting scratched.
If you are changing the valance over and need to swap the heat shield then
use a Torx20 screwdriver, remove the ten screws from the heat shield.
Remove the six plastic pins by either pushing from the back or levering from the front.
An upholstery tool or tack remover can aid in the removal of these plastic pegs.
With all six pins pulled out and all six plastic insert removed, the valance can pull up and out.
Refitting is the reverse of above.
