Always heat the clips up before attempting to remove the lens, it reduces
the chance of the tabs breaking which can affect how well the headlight reseals.
Removing the lens gives you direct access to the inside of the headlight.
Remove the indicator bulb and then pull the front reflector out.
Look at the back of the reflector and unclip the indicator diffuser.
This allows you to paint everything without affecting the diffuser.
Use 600 to 800 grit wet and dry paper to remove the chrome plating.
Undercoat and spray the surrounds in the colour you require. Always spray in a
warm environment, ventilate the area and allow each coat to dry before applying another.
Refit the painted surround after it has been given 24 hours to dry.
