Fog Lights
Front Fog Lights

The button for the front fog lights can be found on the centre console, below the stereo and next to the lighter socket. The front fog lights will only illuminate if the lighting stalk is set to position 1, 2 or 3.

When the fog lights illuminate, the light on the button will also illuminate.
To turn them off, just press the button once again.

Rear Fog Lights

The rear fog light is turned on by turning the lighting stalk all the way to position 4.
When the rear fog light illuminates, a symbol on the speedo will also illuminate.
To turn them off, rotate the stalk to any other position.

Usage Of Fog Lights
Front

Fog lights create a low, wide beam pattern. Their main objective is to illuminate the side of the road to ensure you stay within your boundaries whilst driving in thick fog. Their intended design is for use in very heavy fog only with view restricted to 50 meters. They are not supposed to be used if it’s just raining and they are not driving lights. Driving around in clear conditions with your fog lights on is an offense, it doesn’t make your car look any better, in fact it makes you look like a complete prick. Don’t do it.

Rear

The rear fog lights main objective is to make your vehicle more visible to other drivers in dense fog. They should only be used where the visibility is below 50 meters. Don’t turn them on unless it is foggy as it is an offense and will dazzle people driving behind you.

Britain And Fog

Fog lights should only be used when the visibility is BELOW 50 meters, if you live in the country this may happen every now and then. People who live in the city may experience fog this bad maybe once a year. Fog lights should not be used (as a lot of people do) when it’s slightly misty, raining, has previously rained or you think it looks cool.

If you drive around with your fogs on when it’s not foggy, people think you are a twat. You are not Colin McRae.
