451 Side Skirt Removal

The new smart side skirts need to be removed to gain access to the fixings to remove the front and rear panels.

For some reason, smart thought it best to mess with the way the panels came off the old smart (450) and decided it was far too easy. Now on the 451 you have to remove the side skirts before you can consider removing the front or the rear panels as some of the fixings are hidden underneath.

Of course, in true smart style they used really brittle plastic for the clips. They are cheap to replace but still a pain.

All you need is a tack puller and maybe a few replacement clips (part number supplied).
