Removing the Boot Panel from a 450 is the best way to change the numberplate light bulbs as the holders tend to snap if you attempt to lever them out from the outside. It’s also an essential step for fitting rear speakers and fettling with the lock and the catch. As the boot flap swings down it is very easy to damage this panel so removing the broken one is the obvious 1st step to replacing it with a new one.

You only need a pair of hands and a Torx screwdriver to remove the panel.
New panels can be bought unpainted from smart or search online for precoloured panels.
