451 Door Panel Removal
The door panel is removed to gain access to the speakers and the window mechanism.
Remove the mirror as seen here.
Remove the Torx25 bolt underneath, circled green.

Loosen the 2 Torx bolts on the back end of the door.

Slide the handle backwards and away from the door. It will hang on a cable.

You may find that the door handle with the lock on it doesn't slide so easily.
This is because the lock is held in position with a screw.
You have to look at the back edge of the door and remove the plastic grommet.

Unscrew the screw inside until the handle is free.

With the handle removed you can see the lock retaining screw (circled below).

Along the inside top edge of the door panel are 2 clips.
Lowering the window will allow you to see these clips better.
Removing the window rubber trim is an option if you wish.

These 2 clips sit sit like hooks over a rail.

Slide the door towards the front of the car for about 5cm.

Look along the top of the door again, you will see 3 clips.
Pull the top of the panel out a bit and swing the front of the door panel down.

As the panel swings down at the front, unclip it at the back from under the handle.
The panel will now be free to be removed from the car.

Refitting the panel is the reverse to the above info.

When you refit the rubber seal, push it down...

...and then roll it in and down for it to catch at the back.

Raise the window to make sure the rubber strip stays in place.
