We have the OSRAM LEDriving HL and Philips LED-HL. Both were far too expensive.
However, despite being reputable companies and expensive products, they aren't road legal.
They even tell you what happens if you get caught.
But, is it worth the risk?
In the nearside headlight, we have the Philips and in the offside, we have the Osram.
Here is the devastatingly shit light pattern of the Philips.
And here is the catastrophic light output of the Osram.
You get a hot zone right in the middle and then random light spewing out around that. The cut off is nearly non existant.
For comparison, here is the light pattern of the cheapest H4 halogen bulb I could buy. Still better than the LED H4.
The reflectors in the headlights are regulated to only use halogen bulbs. If you use LED or HID, the reflector isn't regulated.
Nope, you're talking shit.
It's totally up to you. The colour of the light is nice but the spread of light is crap.
If you are going to break the law, get some half decent HID bulbs. They are cheaper and have a better output.
