451 Handle Removal
The handle is removed or loosened to aid the removal of the door panel or to gain access to the bowden cables that operate the door catch.
The handle is removed or loosened to aid the removal of the door panel or to gain access to the bowden cables that operate the door catch.
Look just under the handle and you will see a plastic rivet, push the centre out.
The centre will emerge from the other side.
Take it out and the plastic insert too.
Look into the hole left by the insert, there is a screw inside. Loosen this by 10 turns.
Grab the handle and slide the whole thing towards the back of the car and out.
The cables can now be unclipped from the handle for full removal.
