Roadster Alloys On A Fortwo
This question seems to be coming up a lot now by people wanting wider wheels but not wanting to pay silly money for 3rd party alloys.
It's a good idea to fit the arch extensions on the rear when fitting Roadster wheels to a 450.

Steel Wheels

Fast becoming a popular fitment for Fortwo owners because they are robust, wider
than standard steel wheels and only cost about £120 brand new from smart.

Roadster:
Front 185/55/15
Rear 185/55/15

To fit a Fortwo:
Front 175/55/15
Rear 185/55/15 or 195/50/15

The is the other advantage, if you buy them with tyres already, you only need change the fronts.
Chances are, the rear tyres you have already will fit the front Roadster steel wheels, saving you more.

Moggy not included.

Spinline Alloys

Another wheel becoming popular with Fortwo owners. They have exactly the same
dimensions as the Roadster steel wheels and therefore exactly the same tyre combinations.

Roadster:
Front 185/55/15
Rear 185/55/15

To fit a Fortwo:
Front 175/55/15
Rear 185/55/15 or 195/50/15

Spikeline Alloys

Smart showed us that these would fit a Fortwo when they were released on the Crossblade.
The Roadster and the Crossblade versions have exactly the same offset and widths.

Roadster:
Front 205/45/16
Rear 205/45/16

To fit a Fortwo:
Front 195/40/16
Rear 195/40/16 or 215/35/16

Trackline Alloys

Jay Chung has fitted Trackline alloys to his fortwo.
It is necessary to use the plastic wheel arch extensions on the rear arches.

Roadster:
Front 205/50/15
Rear 205/50/15

To fit a Fortwo:
Front 195/45/15 or 195/50/15
Rear 195/45/15

Thanks to Jay for the picture of his smart.

Runline Alloys

These have been fitted already by ZorroReturns (Dan) and they look awesome.
Perhaps not as easy as the others to get to fit and not as cheap.
You will need to seriously consider fitting the Brabus widestar arches.

Roadster:
Front 205/40/17
Rear 225/35/17

To fit a Fortwo:
Front 195/40/17
Rear 225/35/17

What Do They Look Like Fitted?

Thanks to Dan for the picture of his amazing car.
