If you are going to buy an electric 451, I would recommend taking someone with an MB Star diagnostics system.

The reason is that MB Star can tell you a lot about the health of the high voltage battery. Considering the cost of a high voltage battery replacement, you really want to know the one you are buying is OK. The following settings will show you the voltage of every battery cell which allows you to see if any are failing, failed, not charging properly, over charging or even missing or disconnected.

Connect the computer to the car, start DAS, allow the multiplexer to connect and obtain the VIN code.

Scroll down to select “Systems” and select it.

Scroll down to “N82/2 (Battery management system control unit)” and select it.
