This is where we are looking, remove the side roof spar and take a look at the top of the seal.
That lip just isn't enough in some cases which allows water to drip back into the car. The water either goes onto the seat or down the back and under the carpet.
You need to source a thin flexible piece of rubber, maybe an old gasket from something.
Cut out a 26mm x 6mm section with a pair of scissors. Clean the bit you just cut to clear off any release agent and thoroughly clean the area on the seal where you are going to glue it. Bonding strength can be increased if you lightly rub both mating faces with sand paper.
Apply a thin bead of rubber glue (super glue isn't flexible enough) and hold it in place as shown.
The piece should stay in place whilst the glue cures without the need for any support but a
little bit of tape can help if you wish. Just be careful not to move or deform the new section.
