451 Lower Dash Removal
Remove the lower dash so you can have it recovered in leather or so you can remove the glove box insert.
Remove the lower dash so you can have it recovered in leather or so you can remove the glove box insert.
Remove the stereo, stereo surround and lower button bank as
Remove the 2 Torx screws found underneath the button bank (circled below).
Remove the dash side trims as seen here.
Remove the Torx screw from each end of the lower dash.
Look underneath, there are several Torx screws running along the bottom, remove them all.
The lower dash is held at each end by 3 tabs...
...pull the dash over these tabs to free it.
Slide the dash towards you to remove it from the car.
On its removal you will notice that it is a very basic shape, a shape that lends itself to being
easily recovered with leather, alcantara, vinyl, fur or gimp rubber if you are a pervert.
